One day workshop

 

with Richard Layzell

 

December 2013 Wimbledon College of Art - open space

 

We split into groups with different themes, from fragility to sound, found objects and space alteration. My one person group was focused on outside intervention.

 

I decided to interpret a space of the College which was never explored in a artistic way. My aim was creating a link between the show as the result of the workshop and the rest of the College area.

 

That space is normally a transition space which connects different parts of the College. I decided to put there a decorated string which was supposed to act as a boundary between the daily and usual space and our experimental workshop time space.

 

Something like a door to our show.

 

I intended to describe fragility, sound, found objects, space alterations by using odd and flying objects which created particular movements, balance and sounds.
