From modern to "post-modern"

I am understanding that my art practice bring me to my personal attempt to read contemporary social and cultural changements.

It is not 'bad' that a society changes. This is natural. But I think that this current changement of our society has some differences rispect to the past. Is that possible?

This is my question to which I try to answer through my new projects.

Boundaries/space/time/identity/personal/controlled are some of the concepts I am thinking about.

Another important point is my feeling in front of all this. In the second sketch (see the last drawing), in particular, I put into it my feeling which I would like to express through the use of electric lights.

This project immediately below is called "you and me" and explores the theme of boundaries between my identity and the difficulty of the Other to meet myself (which means another person) by leaving on a neutral space of knowledge where both people can show naturally theirself.

It talks about the sensation of invasion that obstacles the simple way to know the Other, beyond every cliches. This is express through the material of the dress: mirrow.

Since now, I went to two glass factory to ask for discarded pieces of mirrows which I am going to use for this piece.

It will be a suitable mirrow dress which I would like to dress in different contexts. It woul be part of the piece recording it through photography.

I've got a cynematographic reminiscence or inspiration which is a sene of Marcel Carne' s "Les enfants du paradis" (Paris, 1945), for the use of the mirrow, the sense of light/reflections and the value of Truth:

Another important cynematographic inspiration came from Steven Spilberg's "E.T." (Usa, 1982), in particular the scene when it was captured and is dying, because of the light I would like to add as a material in the project shown below.

Discarded plastic from plastic bottles. I was thinking of doing something which is between a dress and a skeleton representation.

It would be a not-suitable dress on a transparent and illuminated manniquin.
