Ideas on how to set the space...

The key point is that I am thinking of this space both as a business-shop space and a gallery space, a space where to exhibit and/or doing cultural events related to Art.

This gave me inspiration in thinking of mobile wals, mobile furnitures which can leave space free, when needed. Another point is that I am just a renter, the space is not mine, so it would be better not to built too much ... structures.

I started to do some reserch in London by visiting art space like galleries and workshops. Interesting ideas came from Serpentine Gallery:

Here I saw componible alluminium structures on which were attached a kind of mdf big boards used as exhibiting walls in the exhibition:

British gypsum.

By visiting Susie Stone workshop in Bermodnesday st. I was inspired in thinking of a divided space, between a exhibiting area and a workshop area. This gave me also the idea of creating a plint where to place a manniquin, in front of the main window.

Before to do this research I already had drown some maps, now I added other drawings which reflect these last ideas of mobile and different use's spaces. It was very inspirational meeting my friend architect Mimmo, who drawn some sketches for me, stimulating me in thinking of the exhistent geometry in the space and of how to connect ideas to those with some fun.
