About

My research question comes from the way I am perceiving reality and my daily wandering. I like to use different media as they are various materials which I find occasionally: re-use materials or found objects. My favourite medium is fabric which means to me the skin...Something physical which I use to bring out something particular which comes out through my sight. Fabric is also connected to my present job as a seamstress.

Social topics and social situation are central to my art practice. Using odd materials means to escape from consumerism, placing Art in an eco-logical dimension and claiming a simple creativity.

I am looking for it within the social space. Before direct contact with people, I look for traces of humanity, which will be the start for a future more explicit dialog and the engagement of the viewer.

In order to obtain all this, I am presently experimenting with different strategies and approaches, from illustration (figurative paintings with fabric and printing) to appropriation (found objects compositions) documentation (photography) and installation.

My inspiration are human values and an attempt to celebrate positive aspets of our world.
